New Year New Me

I've been on and off this platform so many times I'm deciding to give deviant art one last shot after honing my skills. Not just in my art but also my skills as an entrepreneur. Shortly after I post so many of my artworks from the past couple of years I shall be open for commissions as well. I wish to take a couple of weeks just to keep you all up to speed with my artistic journey, warts and all.

It been a while...

BY a while I probably meant to say two years of not posting anything. I don't know if anyone is watching this channel anymore and I don't know if anyone cares but I'm not dead and I've not stopped painting or drawing either just been out of the country for a while to pursue my religious endeavors that should help me for now and for always.
So escuse me if my english suck now cause I'm now bilingual so those who speak spanish I'd love to converse with you. Well apart from being out of the country and the fact that I have no scanner and a broken laptop and the need of a repacement pen for my wacom tablet dosen't escuse my inability for posting anymore artwork on my deviant art blog. To be honest I've had a huge creative block for a while and despite of my binge of favoring a lot of artwork here hasn't really solved the problem for me.
I just want you to know that although I'm not going to be posting a lot of artwork for the time being doesn't mean that I wont give up on art. I love drawing I love digital painting just as much as I used too in order for me to be an artist and in order to communicate to you all of who I am or what I'm doing I really need to be honest to myself and with everybody concerning who I am and what I'm doing. I no longer care about doing fan art of adventure time or nintendo for the sake of more comments or more hits or what others esteem of being true art. I no longer care if anyone is actively watching my account anyone, for now on and for always everyone is welcome to see what my art has to offer and what it is I'm doing if you don't like it you don't have to watch, the attention no longer matters to me. We could be friends and give each other advice along the way. That's what an art community is supposed to be right? We shouldn't use art to mask ourselves from our problems our differences, our sexual orientations, or even our dispositions on life. Rather is to get it our of our systems to show who we are to even heal from our problems of life, I promise that it's more gratifying that way.
I may have a small audience but if I'm doing an honest work with that many people watching that's more rewarding for me anyways. So here are a few commitments that I'll make number one NO MORE ESCUSES I'll never say "sorry for the crappy quality I didn't have time to scan it" or " I didn't have enough time to color or outline or friggin finish a doodle on the weB!" I promise to commit submitting finished work and to be open for critique whenever anyone sees I need insight. Number two I'll submit weekly whether it be two weekly or one I will submit even if it's a doodle on a napkin that looked cool or a drawing on a kichen wall I'll post it! Number three most importantly is this.. I'll never lie, I'll never lie about who I am or what I do, just to be brief I'm a mormon guy who loved cartoons as a kid and always dreamed of expressing himself through this craft of drawing or painting. Now I know in order to do that I need to work at it the squeaky wheel always gets the grease if you want something bad it's something you have to work for constantly.
In other words if you want to be an artist, you have to commit. You must never give up if something doesn't work out work at it in order to get it right. If you get criticized for something and feel inadequate about it don't hesitate to pick up that pencil or pen or rubber duck whatever it is at your disposal and change those weaknesses into strengths. I see many things come and go but one thing for certain is this. Never lose your faith. In yourself or in your craft.
